Questions

Can a betta live in a bowl?
A small unheated bowl leads to cold water and ammonia build-up. A 5 gallon heated, filtered tank is the minimum for a healthy betta.
Can bettas live with other fish?
Sometimes, in 10 gallons or more, with calm small fish like ember tetras or pygmy corys. Avoid fin nippers and other long-finned fish, and never two males.
How often should I feed my betta?
Two or three pellets once or twice a day, about what it eats in a minute or two. Skip a day each week.
